Barbara R. Jorae, 79 of Ovid died Monday, Sept. 19, 2011. Barb was born on Feb. 8, 1932 in Lansing, MI the daughter of Herman & Pauline (Brendall) Remer. She graduated from St. Johns High School and was married Keith Jorae on Aug. 19, 1951 in St. Johns. He preceded her in death on Dec. 3, 1992. She had worked for many years at Universal Electric in Owosso retiring in 1989.
Barb enjoyed sewing and bird watching.
Survived by son Joel (Cathy) Jorae of Ovid, daughters Julie (Gary) Lantz of Mason and Jan Jorae of Owosso, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Sister Mary Fielder of PA, brothers Lawrence Remer of FL and David Remer of Linden, MI.
Preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
There will be no services or visitation.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
