Sharon L. Jorae passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at the age of 46. She was born March 14, 1959 in St. Johns the daughter of Larry and Joyce (Simon) Karber and lived all her life in the St. Johns area. Sharon was a graduate of St. Johns High School, Class of 1977 and attended Northwood University and Lansing Community College.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and served on the St. Joseph Parish Council. She was an accountant with the Gratiot-Isabella RESD and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Sharon married Daniel Jorae on August 25, 1979 and he survives her. Also surviving is a daughter, Danielle of St. Johns; two sons, Brad (Kristina) of East Lansing and Kyle at home; her mother, Joyce Karber of St. Johns; two sisters, Janis (Jerry) Terrebrood of Ozark, MO, Julie Karber of St. Johns; two brothers, Dean (Carol) Karber of St. Johns, John (Kathleen) Karber of Williamston. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Karber and a sister Karen. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am Saturday, March 4, 2006 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 109 Linden, St. Johns with Rev. Fr. Eoin Murphy, as Celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow at Mt. Rest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday and 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday at Keck-Coleman Funeral Home, St. Johns 989-224-4422. A vigil service will be held 7:30 pm Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic School.
