Ronald L. Schrader died unexpectedly Thursday, March 1, 2018 in Georgetown, KY at the age of 54. He was born July 18, 1963 in St. Johns, MI the son of Gordon and Shirley (Wright) Schrader. He was a graduate of St. Johns High School, Class of 1982. He continued his education earning an Associate Degree from Denver Automotive and Diesel College in Denver, CO. Ron was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and farming. He loved spending time with family and friends. Ron was a truck driver for Cassens Transport Co. based in Georgetown, KY which handles automotive transport. He had over 23 years of service for Cassens. On August 28, 1992 he married Debbie Sattler and she survives him. Also surviving is their son, Holden of DeWitt; his parents, Gordon and Shirley Schrader of St. Johns; his brother, David (MariLou) of St. Johns; brothers-in-law, Donald (Rusti) Sattler of St. Louis, MI, Daniel (Dawn) Sattler of Farwell; sisters-in-law, Shelly (Ron) Kipp of Carson City, MI, Georgia (Dave) Fedewa of Perrinton, and Barb Sattler of Celina,OH. He was loved and will be missed by all his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents-in-law, Cecil and Josephine Henry; sister-in-law, Sherri Sattler and brother-in-law, Larry Sattler. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, March 5, 2018 at St. Peter Lutheran Church 8990 Church Rd. St. Johns with Pastor Paul Clark officiating. Interment will follow at St. Peter Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday at Keck-Coleman Funeral Home, St. Johns.
