Margaret E. Hawley, 80 of Owosso, MI died at Hazel Findlay Country Manor in St. Johns on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 surrounded by her family. Margaret was born on June 6, 1935 in Ovid, MI the daughter of Ronald and Mildred (Hettinger) Jorae. She graduated from Ovid High School in 1954 and on November 12, 1954 she married Vaughn Hawley at the Duplain Church of Christ. Margaret was a homemaker, loved doing crafts, helping Vaughn with gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and family. She is survived by her husband Vaughn and daughters Wendy (Paul) Barrett and Patti (Don) Goodrich, both of Ovid. 4 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and brother Dale (Mary ) Jorae of Florida. She was preceded in death by brother Keith Jorae and sisters Sandy Mead, Mary Lou Cox and Vicky Doten.
Memorial services will be held at Duplain Church of Christ on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. with Chuck Emmert officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to the Duplain Church of Christ. Arrangements by Keck-Coleman Funeral Home, St. Johns, MI.
