Charlotte H. Rose died Friday, September 12, 2014 at the age of 91. She was born June 14, 1923 in Hastings, MI the daughter of William and Leona (Schmelker) Rose. Charlotte graduated from Rodney B. Wilson High School in St. Johns and worked for Mathews, Glaspie Drug Store and the D&C Dime Store all in downtown St. Johns. Surviving are nieces and nephews, Jean and Charles Donald of Maple Rapids, Leon and Marlene Stewart of Florida, Robert and Ann Stewart of Tennessee and their families. There will be no services. Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans 3725 Alexandria Pike Cold Spring, KY 41076. The family was assisted with these arrangements by Keck-Coleman Funeral Home, St. Johns.
