Timothy John Schmidtchen 54, of St. Johns, MI passed away on Friday, August 22, 2014 of natural causes at Sparrow Clinton Hospital. He was born in Lansing, MI on June 15, 1960 to the late Elmer E. Schmidtchen and Helene Louise (Osmer) Schmidtchen and his two surviving brothers Ernest (Kathy) Schmidtchen and Jeffrey Schmidtchen. He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his surviving wife, Guadalupe (Martinez) Schmidtchen and their four children, Stephanie (Aaron) Perry, Erika (Corey) Feldpausch, Samantha Schmidtchen, and Timothy (Courtney) Schmidtchen II and his loving precious grandchildren, Olivia, Brynnlee, Teyaiah, Bryce, Gabe, Drew, and Ella. He will be sorely missed and remembered.
Timothy was a graduate of Bath High School in 1978 and worked for General Motors from 1978 to 2009. He was an avid outdoorsman and when he wasn’t hunting or fishing he was spending time with his family.
Funeral services will be held at Keck-Coleman Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Paul Clark officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home on Monday, 2-4 &6 -8 P.M.
