George is a humble man who has never been boastful about his accomplishments, though he has many. He graduated from Ferris State University in 1969 with a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree. George has been a licensed pharmacist for over 45 years. He graduated from Cooley Law School in 1983 with a Juris Doctor Degree.
In 1999 George decided to develop independently and created his own pharmacy relief company called Mid-Michigan Relief Pharmacy Services Inc. George is a dedicated pharmacist, his passion is evident through the relationships he has developed with his clients and colleagues which isexemplified by his conduct and business integrity. Over the years George has established a presence, within the pharmacy community, throughout the state of Michigan due to the numerous businesses he has contracted to serve.
For the last 24 years George has been a devoted member of the St. Johns Lions Club. His service to the club and community were displayed though his passion and enthusiasm for the projects he worked on. Some of George’s favorite service endeavors include working White Cane, working the food trailer for Music in the Park and the Mint Festival. However, none can compare to the joy that he felt working with his wife to create the Pumpkins in the Park Festival with 5k run and revitalizing the St. Johns Lions Club Recycle Center.
George is not defined by his accomplishments alone. He is known to family and friends for his culinary savvy, his wine making, his love of fishing, and his clowning around. In 1992 George graduated from Clown College and “Skittles Rex” his Hobo alter ego was born. George has always had a light hearted sense of humor and this spirit embodied his “Skittles Rex” character, which was delighted by all. Skittles graced the three rings of the Ringling Brothers Circus in 1993 and put smiles on the faces of many children at birthday parties.
George is an amazing man who is loved dearly by his family and friends. His memory will forever be embodied in our hearts. We love you.
