Annette L. Vance, age 65 of St. Johns, MI died at Hazel Findlay Country Manor on March 17, 2014. She was born on August 27, 1948 in Lansing, MI the daughter of Charles and Barbara (VanHalst) Stack. Annette graduated from Everett High School and attended LCC. She had worked in the Medical Records Dept of Clinton Memorial Hospital, retiring in 2013. Annette loved animals, treated all kids like they were her own, caring and providing for all. She made the best of being a single mom. She loved cooking and hosting family dinners, making all those around her feel loved. She had a brilliant sense of humor, catching many off guard. She was a proud grandmother and loved to read and be a part of book clubs.
Survived by daughter, Sara A. (David) Patterson and son Jesse C. (April) Vance both of St. Johns, grandchildren, Kate and Megan Patterson.
The family will receive friends and relatives at Keck-Coleman Funeral Home, 989-224-4422 on Thursday, March 20, 2014, 6-8 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
