Uncle Al & Aunt Maridell had many happy years as they, together, raised their three children. They were a happy couple and I could tell they enjoyed each other's company. Maridell was seriously injured in an auto accident resulting in the most serious was a broken pelvis, if I remember correctly. I recall my Mother, Louise (Nelson) Reinink receiving a call from Uncle Al as he cried and was barely able to statewhath ppened to his wife, the mother of his children. As a family, they went camping to Wilderness State Park and often took my sisiter, Sue to help wiht the kids.
I could go on and on about the wonderful Mother, aunt, sisiter and Wife. To whomever chose to omit Aunt Maridell from his obituary,, if it was intentional,, which I believe it was., this person or persons, are uncaring of others. Maridell was his first love and his true love! Bette was in second place. She was very rude to my husband and myself when we took Bette and Uncle Al for dinner the evening of my Mother's funeral. I called her Aunt Bette. She made it clear by stating "just Bette." I will never forget her rudeness.
