Philip A. O’Connor, 67 of Lansing, MI died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011 at Ingham Regional Medical Center. Philip was born on Nov. 4, 1943 the son of Earl & Hilda (Gillett) O’Connor. He graduated from St. Johns High School in 1962, was a U.S. Navy veteran and worked at General Motors as a skilled tradesman, retiring in 2005. He enjoyed Harley Davison Motor Cycles, Indy car racing, and all sports.
Survived by daughters Kelly (Ron) King of Laingsburg, Kathleen O’Connor of Lansing, and Julie (Jerry) Rushlow of Wyandotte, MI.
Grandchildren, Tyler King, Alexandra Kinney, Lindsey King and Emily Kinney.
Brother James (Doris) O’Connor of St. Johns and sister Mary (Maurice) Myers of Lansing.
Preceded in death by his parents and sisters Kathleen O’Connor and Pat Cook.
There will be no visitation or services. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
