Jameson William “Jamey” Arnett died suddenly Saturday, August 31, 2013 at the age of 7. He was born October 16, 2005 in Lansing, Michigan. Jamey liked playing sports with family and friends and loved riding bikes with his brothers. He was a member of the Work of Heart Organization and the Early On Great Start Group. Jamey was a student at Leonard Elementary School in Ovid and would have started second grade this fall. Surviving are his birth parents, Kris Arnett of Lansing and Kathryn Arnett-Parker of Texas; adoptive parents, Tom and Sharon Arnett of St. Johns; two brothers, Riley and Keiran both at home; uncle, Jeremy Arnett of Lansing; great grandparents, John Arnett and Lois Horn-Arnett of Holt and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by great grandparents, Barbara Arnett, Doris Bonham and Marvin Cook. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Keck-Coleman Funeral Home, St. Johns with Elder Earl Barks officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday, September 6, 2013 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Leonard Elementary School 520 Mabbit Rd. Ovid, MI 48866
