Marsha Ann Ellis, 58 died tragically at her home on Sunday, June 16, 2013. Marsha was born on September 14, 1954 in Saginaw, MI the daughter of William J. and Norma Jean (Miller) Surdock. She graduated from St. Charles High School in 1972 and on September 25, 1976 she married Nate L. Ellis in Saginaw, MI. Marsha was employed by Convergent Media Co. as a field service representative.
She truly loved her family and especially her grandchildren, her lawn and gardens at home and doing wood working.
Marsha is survived by her husband Nate.
Children, Nathaniel Ellis of St. Johns, Carolyn (Dr. Robert) Vaidya of Ann Arbor, MI and Joseph (Amy) Ellis of St. Johns.
Grandchildren, Haley Witgen, Jayden Ellis, Natalee Ellis and Audrey Vaidya.
Brothers, Robert, Ronald and James (Darlene) Surdock; sister-in-law, Gail Surdock and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother William J. Surdock.
Funeral services will be held at Keck-Coleman Funeral Home, 989-224-4422 on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Kathy Leydorf-Keck officiating. Burial will follow at Sowle Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, 5-8 P.M. and on Thursday, June 20, 2013, 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
