Beatrice L. Wierman died Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the age of 81. She was born July 30, 1930 in Perrinton, Michigan the daughter of Arthur and Winifred (Burton) Andrew. She was a graduate of Ithaca High School and was a homemaker and a waitress at Light’s Restaurant in Lansing, Wheel Inn Restaurant in St. Johns, Highland Hills Golf Club, Knob Hill Tavern and owned and operated Bea and Marty’s Gas Station on south US-27 near DeWitt On April 24, 1948 she married Martin Wierman and he survives her. Also surviving are two daughters, Martha Walker (Jason Buckwheat) of Durand and Marla (Devon) Parker of Normandy, TN; two sons, Michael (Gail) of St. Johns and Marlin James (Shirley) of Gilford, ME; eight grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one sister, June Riggs of Alma and one brother, Don Andrew of Coopers Cove, TX. She was preceded in death by a son Mark one sister and three brothers. It was Bea’s request to be cremated and have no services. Memorials may be made to a charity of donor’s choice.
