Ladessa P. Reynolds died Sunday, February 5, 2012 at the age of 78. She was born September 29, 1933 the daughter of Joseph and Dora (Placeway) Mevis. She enjoyed reading and crocheting and attended Faith Fellowship Church. On July 7, 1951 she married Darold C. “Curly” Reynolds and he preceded her in death in 2006. She was also predeceased by one sister and one brother. Surviving are three daughters, Kathleen (Bud) Blackmer, Robin (Roger) Mygrants all of St. Johns and Julie (Gary) Crandell of Lansing; four grandchildren, Shawn Blackmer (Brent Crowell), Shannon (Aaron) Mitchell, Michelle Clark Miller, and Daniel (Nicole) Mygrants and 15 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Keck-Coleman Funeral Home, St. Johns 989-224-4422 with Pastor John Jakus and Pastor Birt Cooper officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding, Michigan. The family will receive relatives and friends 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
